Reggae legend and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member Jimmy Cliff released his first full-length album in over seven years. Cliff teamed up with Tim Armstrong of Rancid to be the producer on this album. Cliff said it was good to work with Tim Armstrong because he believe the overall sound of the album reminded him of the music in the 60’s and 70’s. “One More” is the stand out song on the album and seems to be a very personal song in which Cliff claims he is not finished making music. Another stand out song is “World Upside Down” which was a song written by Joe Higgs in the 1970’s but Cliff updated the lyrics to be more relatable today. If you life what you hear there you just might like Cliff’s cover of The Clash’s “Guns of Brixton”. Cliff also did a cover of producer Tim Armstrong’s “Ruby Soho.”
