KTSW's production department takes care of everything that plays in between the music. Our work consists of short audio clips on subjects including ticket giveaways, public service announcements, holiday promos, and all the general KTSW happenings.

Who is TIPA?
The Texas Intercollegiate Press Association is the oldest collegiate press association in the nation and one of the largest and most respected collegiate groups in the country. Production Assistants submit entries to the Radio division contest every year and never fail to make KTSW and Texas State University proud. It is the mission of College Broadcasters, Inc. to represent students in all sorts of broadcast media, including radio. CBI is committed to educating students who are pursuing a career in electronic media by helping them network with other students and professionals and by facilitating ongoing discussions related to student-operated electronic media. KTSW sends some of its staff members to the annual CBI convention every year, and it’s an amazing opportunities for them to learn new skills that they can bring back to improve the station.
