Title: Feel Good Ghosts (Tea-Partying Through Tornadoes)
Synopsis: I am not a huge fan of the vocals because they
sound kind of juvenile sometimes, but the music is great, so it's okay. Each
song is really unique and combines different instruments and different music
styles in an innovative way. At the same time, there's an element of drama in
every song that makes listening to this album feel like an adventure. It doesn’t
really matter what songs you pick from this album because they are all
fantastic.
Recommended Tracks:
*1. "No One Said It Would Be Easy" -
The music is very Explosions in the Sky-ish. Starts
out dramatically, combining piano with techno elements, which sounds really
cool. The vocals slowly start to fade in from the background as the momentum
builds. Great Song!
*2. "Everybody Here Is A
cloud" - This song is awesome. It starts out slow and
mysterious and builds into a crazy choir of drums, guitar, tinkling bells, and
vocals in the vein of Sufjan Stevens and sometimes
Elliott Smith. Ends with a little violin sols. Very Pretty.
