The Liars sixth album Wixiw (pronounced “wish you”) was released June first and is more explorative than their former albums. Wixiw seems to be more electronic and gives darker overtones than ever before used by the band. This new approach to music has some people drawing connections from the Liars to the band they used to tour with, Radiohead. “No. 1 Against the Rush” and “His and Mine Sensations” are two great singles the really get a taste of the album. I would also suggest “A Ring On Every Finger” and “Flood to Flood” if you like what you hear from the now Los Angeles based band. Also you can always go see them on tour but you will have to go out of state.
