Parking for KTSW The directions below explain how to drive directly up to the Old Main building that KTSW is located at, however, parking here is only legal for Texas State students/faculty/staff that has a parking pass with the university system and during the respective hours. Follow the parking services regulations for knowing when it is legal to park in the restricted red parking zones, otherwise park in the student parking or visitor parking lots.

From the San Antonio direction... From the San Antonio direction, take IH-35 North to San Marcos. Exit 206 and then turn left under the freeway on Aquarena Springs Dr. Go about 1.5 miles down Aquarena Springs and then turn right onto Sessom Dr. Then turn left onto State St. just after the Freeman Aquatic Biology building and just before the first traffic light on Sessom Dr. Take State St. through the gates and then make a sharp u-turn up the steep hill onto Old Main St.

From the Austin direction... From the Austin direction, take IH-35 South to San Marcos. Exit 206 and then turn right onto Aquarena Springs Dr. Go about 1.5 miles down Aquarena Springs and then turn right onto Sessom Dr. Then turn left onto State St. just after the Freeman Aquatic Biology building and just feet before the first traffic light. Take State St. through the gates and then make a sharp u-turn up the steep hill onto Old Main St.

From the Wimberley direction... From the Wimberley direction, take Ranch Rd. 12 towards San Marcos. Turn left onto W. Holland St. and shortly after turn right onto Academy St. Academy St. curves left and becomes W. Sessom Dr. Follow W. Sessom Dr. around a few more bends in the road past the N. LBJ Dr. intersection, but shortly after that turn a very sharp almost u-turn left onto the 2nd street past the intersection called State. St. Take State St. through the gates and then make a sharp u-turn up the steep hill onto Old Main St.

From the Luling direction... From the Luling direction, take Texas-80/Texas-21 into San Marcos which becomes Ranch Road 12 after crossing underneath IH-35. After crossing the 2nd set of railroad tracks, turn right onto Bobcat Dr. Follow this road until it T-intersects Aquarena Springs Dr. Turn left onto Aquarena Springs Dr. and then turn right onto Sessom Dr. Then turn left onto State St. just after the Freeman Aquatic Biology building and just feet before the first traffic light. Take State St. through the gates and then make a sharp u-turn up the steep hill onto Old Main St.
