Parking for KTSW

The directions below explain how to drive directly up to the Old Main, where KTSW is located. Parking on campus here is only available for Texas State students/faculty/staff who have a parking pass. Parking for anyone is available in certain lots after 5 p.m. Follow the parking services regulations for knowing when it is legal to park in the restricted red parking zones. Otherwise park in the student parking or visitor parking lots.

From San Antonio:

Take IH-35 North to San Marcos. Exit 206 and then turn left under the freeway on Aquarena Springs Drive. Go about 1.5 miles down Aquarena Springs and then turn right onto Sessom Drive. Turn left onto State Street. just after the Freeman Aquatic Biology building and just before the first traffic light on Sessom Drive. Take State Street through the gates and then make a sharp u-turn up the steep hill onto Old Main Street.

From Austin:

Take IH-35 South to San Marcos. Exit 206 and then turn right onto Aquarena Springs Dr. Go about 1.5 miles down Aquarena Springs and then turn right onto Sessom Drive. Turn left onto State Street just after the Freeman Aquatic Biology building and just feet before the first traffic light. Take State Street. through the gates and then make a sharp u-turn up the steep hill onto Old Main Street.

From Wimberley:

From the Wimberley direction, take Ranch Rd. 12 toward San Marcos. Turn left onto West Holland Street and shortly after, turn right onto Academy Street. Academy Street curves left and becomes West Sessom Drive. Follow Sessom around a few more bends in the road past the North LBJ Drive intersection, but shortly after that turn a very sharp almost u-turn left onto the second street past the intersection called State. Street. Take State Street through the gates and then make a sharp u-turn up the steep hill onto Old Main Street

From Luling:

Take Texas-80/Texas-21 into San Marcos. This highway becomes Ranch Road 12 after crossing underneath IH-35. After crossing the second set of railroad tracks, turn right onto Bobcat Drive. Follow this road until it T-intersects Aquarena Springs Drive. Turn left onto Aquarena Springs Drive and then turn right onto Sessom Drive. Then turn left onto State Street just after the Freeman Aquatic Biology building and just feet before the first traffic light. Take State Street through the gates and then make a sharp u-turn up the steep hill onto Old Main Street.
